The Jōdo wasan. [PDF]. Ryukoku University's translation.

Today January 16, it's Hôonko, the memorialday of Shinran Shônin's death in our world.

It's an important day in the Jôdoshinhu, and i'm very glad this year to share with you

a translation in PDF of an important work by our Shônin : The Jōdo Wasan or Hymns of the Pure Land.

Of course a translation exist already here

But more translation you have, better is it i think.

Here so the translation of these hymns by the famous Ryukoku University

This book was edited in 1965. My copy is a second hand book and i am really happy to have been able to to acquire it some years ago.

You will see there is some slight writtings by the previous owner but i decided to let them, it's not disturbing for the reading.

Really i tried to make my best to offer you something correct.

I didn't put the introduction and the glossary but each hymn are here. And if there is some character with a  slight blur but
trust me, everything here is readable. And note that if the borders of the pages is close to the text, no characters, latin or kanji, miss here.
